GVH EMS is a State of Colorado certified Training Center. This class will prepare and qualify successful students to take the NREMT Psychomotor and Computer Based Exams. Students will receive didactic and practical skills based instruction. Students will receive individualized clinical supervision and evaluation, as well as written and practical skill evaluations.
Fall 2018 Emergency Medical Technician Course will be hosted by Crested Butte Fire Protection District
This course is the first step into pre-hospital emergency medicine and will prepare the student for basic level emergency medical field work. The Crested Butte EMS Division pulls from this annual class to help staff the volunteer ambulance service.

Cancellation policy Students whose applications are not accepted into the program will receive a tuition refund minus a $50 application fee. Students who withdraw from the program more than two weeks before the first scheduled class with receive a refund of tuition minus a 20% administrative fee. If a student withdraws from the program with less than two weeks remaining before the first scheduled class, no tuition will be refunded. Students who fail or are dismissed from the program for any reason are not eligible for refunds.
